In the continuation of this series of early work, precursor to the final series of “Quest”, the exploration of the search for self, and a sense of place, representing that continued journey for finding that place in which I feel I can belong and connect with. It also represents experiencing a moment in time of disillusionment during this search. In life, we all experience many peaks and valleys, and can become discouraged through encountering unresolved moments in time.
The merging environment with my figure, and the disappearance of the natural shape of my earthly body. My ghostly presence is transcending between heaven and earth, between life and death, between moments of encouragement and discouragement, between reconciliation and distress… during the earlier work to “Quest”… the exploration of the search for self, and a sense of place…in just one single moment in time.
